Handcrafted WebAR Birthday Card (2026)

Every year I make my husband a birthday card. This year it became an AR puzzle.

He's a Cancer, so the card starts with a crab. And this year he's moving to a new city for a new job, so I wanted the card to carry that feeling too. A voyage into something new.

Here's how it works. You hold your phone over the crab, and a safe door appears. To open it, you turn a dial and enter a secret code. The code is his birthday. When it unlocks, the door swings open, water rises, and a little paper ship sails in. Then it says Bon voyage.
